Check out my last two blogs to catch up before you read this weeks!
Part Three:The Mom.
I’ve babysat the same family for almost 5 years. One Friday night, I put three little boys to bed. I started straightening up the living room and the kitchen, because with that many little boys a house could easily turn into a disaster. I finished the dishes and still had an hour or so before the parents came home. I sat at the dining room table and just stared. This sweet mom had bibles open, scripture written down, reflections on how she parents, and some type of study on how to be a godly momma; that is normal to find in her household. She consistently inspires me.
She is constantly in the Word and desires to grow with the Lord.
She is always doing activities with the boys to help them grow and learn.
She sees people for who they are.
She gives her time, money, and wisdom to invest into others.
She seeks the Lord about how to parent her boys.
She is passionate about women knowing the Word.
She is passionate about a relationship with the Lord instead of playing religion.
In addition to my mom and women in my family, this woman has helped prepare me for marriage and having children. She often shares what she is growing in or could grow in as a wife and mom; nothing is ever sugar coated which is beautiful to see that nothing is perfect! Often times, I believe many people are scared to admit what they need to grow in or do better in because they are scared of being perceived as not having it together. This woman says what she needs, and I love it. If I am half the wife and mom that she is, my family will be blessed. She is the definition of a Proverbs 31 woman. In addition to all the godly lessons she has imparted to me, she also taught me that you cant use pledge counter cleaner as a floor cleaner… talk about a slip n slide. She is great.
I am easily inspired, but the Lord has used each of these three women to help write my story. There are so many other people that the Lord has used that it could fill a novel! Thank you so much ladies for helping to write this story, for imparting wisdom, for showing through actions how to be instead of just saying, for listening and helping me grow… most of all for inspiring me to become more like Christ. Yall reflect Him well.
Friends, be inspired today. Look around and see what the Lord has for you. Also, be inspiring for others. Live your life in such a way that they want whatever you have. (Jesus). Tell the people who have inspired you how they have done that; they need encouragement!
Inspire and Be Inspired.
